Aamir Khan receives Vishesh Puraskar at the 75th Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards for Dangal

Superstar Aamir Khan, who prefers to stay away from award shows, attended 75th Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards and was also honoured with Vishesh Puraskar for his outstanding performance in Dangal. The actor became the part of an award ceremony almost after a long gap of 16 years.

Aamir was all smiles as he received the award from RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards take place in the memory of singer Lata Mangeshkar’s father and classical vocalist Dinanath Mangeshkar.

Aamir thanked all the writers and directors he has worked in his entire career while receiving the award. He played the character of Mahavir Singh Phogat in Dangal. The movie did wonders at the box office.

Aamir Khan was spotted having a deep conversation with veteran actor Vyanjathimala, who was also one of the recipients of the award. The actress was looking beautiful in golden saree.

Aamir was seen holding Lata’s hand. The actor was invited by the Nightingale of India to attend the ceremony.

Mohan Bhagwat is seen sharing some good moments with cricketer Kapil Dev. The latter was also honoured with the award for his outstanding contribution to Indian cricket.

Aamir opted for casual attire and was looking handsome in blue denim and check shirt.
