Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the much-anticipated Flower Show 2025 at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad on Friday.

Organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, the Flower Show promises an enhanced experience with new facilities such as a QR code system that will act as an audio guide.

Attendees can scan the QR code placed on each flower sculpture and listen to a description of the flowers, the zone it belong to, and the sculpture in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Additionally, a souvenir shop will be available for visitors to purchase memoirs from the event.

For the first time, the Flower Show will include VIP slots, offering exclusive access for a fee of Rs 500. These slots will be available from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Regular tickets are priced at Rs 70 from Monday to Friday and Rs 100 on weekends. However, children under the age of 12 can enter the show for free.

At the Flower Show 2025, unique structures in the shape of lotus, garba dancers, Olympic torch, peacock, and characters like Hulk, Doraemon, and Kung Fu Panda have been installed.

The show has been divided into six zones, each with a distinct theme. With over 10 lakh flowers of over 50 varieties and more than 30 sculptures, the AMC is looking to secure a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records this year

The western side of the Sabarmati Riverfront will also host Night Flower Park where vibrant light structures have been installed in 4,500 sq m at a cost of 3 crore.
