Islamabad, March 20: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will be visiting Ashgabat today at the invitation of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Xinhua reported.
President Zardari will participate in annual Nauroz Spring festival in Turkmenistan, said Pakistan's ambassador to Turkmenistan Tasadduq Hussain.
He said the heads of state and government of 10 other countries, including Iran and Tajikistan, are also visiting Ashgabat on this occasion.
The visit will further consolidate Pakistan's historic cultural and religious relations with the Central Asian state, he added.
