2. La Tomatina: This world famous festivity is also the weirdest of all held every year at Bruñol, Valencia, where a whooping number of around 30,000 enthusiasts throw fresh and squeezed tomatoes on one another.
Its history is traced back to 1945 during Anti-Franco protests, where soldiers due to lack of weapons and ammunitions, used Tomatoes in their protests.
