Manila:Many areas of Philippines have been devastated by one of the world's strongest typhoons.
So far, the official toll in the typhoon disaster is 1,744 people, with the final number expected to be much higher.
In worst-hit areas, 235 mph winds led to 20 ft high sea waves which killed thousands.
Those who have survived this natural disaster are homeless and seeking aid from authorities. .
