Beijing, Jun 12: An Air China passenger jet was struck by an UFO (unidentified flying object) mid-flight and that object put a large dent and crack in the nose cone of the aircraft.
The pilot radioed air traffic control that they'd been hit and needed to make an emergency landing.
According to “Fox News” on Tuesday, the dent wasn't caused by a bird strike as there were no feathers or blood that is usually found in a bird strike.
The damage to the plane was immediate apparent upon landing. The pilot reports a large bang was heard and felt in the aircraft and then the plane was hard to control, this is when he asked to turn back for an emergency landing. That request was granted.
