Islamabad: A total of 12 death row convicts were hanged to death across Pakistan on Tuesday morning, media reported.
The criminals Mubashir, Shareef and Riaz were executed after meeting their family members in District jail Jhang in Panjab province.
Mubashir and Shareef killed a taxi driver in 1998 while Riaz killed a man over a domestic dispute in 1995.
Zafar Iqbal, a convict who killed his own father along with Rab Nawaz, convicted of killing a woman, were hanged in Mianwali district jail in the same province.
Two convicts, Fazal and Faisal were executed in Karachi Central Jail in Sindh province for killing a citizen during a robbery in Korangi area of the city.
Malik Nadeem and Muhammad Javed were hanged in Rawalpindi's Adiala jail in Punjab.
Zafar Iqbal was hanged in Multan central jail for raping and murdering a female child while Muhammad Iqbal was hanged in Gujranwala central jail for a murder case.
Muhammad Nawaz was hanged to death in Faisalabad cental jail for murdering a citizen over a minor dispute back in 1992.
