Originally a film star, Estrada was the 13th President of the Philippines, serving from 1998 – 2001. Although accused of looting between US$78 million and $80 million, he was given an unconditional pardon in 2007 by President Arroyo and so ran again, unsuccessfully, in the 2010 elections.
