London, Oct 21 : Leading NRI industrialist Lord Swraj Paul today said that the Privileges Committee of Britain's House of Lords recommended his suspension despite finding that he had not acted "dishonestly or in bad faith" in claiming certain allowances.
"The Lords have said, the Privileges Committee, there was no bad faith, there was no dishonesty. It was an error," Lord Paul said, commenting on the suspension of three members of Asian-origin by House of Lords.
"I paid the money almost twice as much than they were supposed to have complained," he told NDTV.PTI
