DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has threatened to launch attacks in the US and Europe “very soon”.
“We will launch attacks in America and Europe very soon,” Qari Hussain Mehsud, a senior TTP leader, said .
Mehsud said his group had carried out the triple bombings at a Shia procession in Lahore and an attack on a Shia rally in Quetta on Friday.
The Lahore blasts killed 33 people. “It's revenge for the killings of innocent Sunnis,” he said, adding, the group was also responsible for the suicide bombing that killed at least 55 Shias in Quetta on Friday.
He told The Associated Press that although the group was fighting the US and the Pakistani government, “Shias are also our target”.
