Ischia is a volcanic island in the Tyrrhenian Sea. It lies at the northern end of the Gulf of Naples, about 30 km from the city of Naples. It is the largest of the Phlegrean Islands. It is famous for its beaches and the healing waters of its spas.
The town is divided in two: Ischia Porto is the harbor district and commercial center of the island, filled with brightly lit taverns and bar.
