New Delhi: Solar System was formed around 4.6 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of a giant molecular cloud. The overall structure of the charted regions of the Solar System consists of the Sun, four relatively small inner planets surrounded by a belt of rocky asteroids, and four gas giants surrounded by the Kuiper belt of icy objects. Here are some interesting facts about the solar system and its related objects.1. Actual lifetime of sunlight The sunlight takes around 10,000 to 170,000 years for the process of photon travel from the central part of the Sun to the surface of the Sun. So, the light reaching the earth's surface approximately includes the lifespan of a minimum of above 10,000 years to a maximum of 170, 000 years.2. The lifespan of the solar system The scientist made the research about the lifespan of the solar system with the help of meteorites from that they examined that the solar system is 4.6 billion years old. This research also explains that every object in the solar system has this same lifespan in an estimated manner.3. An effect of lightning on earth Lightning is a substantial discharge of electrostatic power and it includes the electrically charged particles. Every year, lightning kills more than 1000 people approximately.4. The movement of our earth through space The Milky Way is rotating at a speed of 225 Km per second and the spin of the Milky Way Galaxy through space is 305 Km per second. From these statistics, we are travelling through the space at a speed of 530 Km per second. That means the total speed of our travel is 330 miles per second.5. The orbit of solar system Scientist found that the direction of every object in the solar system is a counter-clockwise mode and the complete solar system is the formation of hydrogen cloud. 6. Rotation of Sun with other objects The Sun is accumulated with the amount of gas particles and dust and it rotates in a same orbit way. Its rotation forms a gas disk, which covers the rotation of all planets and other types of objects. 7. Temperature in the core of Sun The temperature level in the central part of the Sun is about 13,600,000 Kelvin.
