New York: Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry said here today that the revival of India-Pakistan dialogue was now in India's hands, as it was India which had unilaterally called off the foreign secretary level talks scheduled in Islamabad last month.
Chaudhry was replied to queries from mediapersons on the sidelines of UN General Assembly session here.
Asked about prospects of a meeting between Indian and Pakistani officials in New York, Chaudhry said, the onus now was on India.
"If the Indians are interested in a meeting, we expect them to approach us", reported APP quoting the Pakistani Foreign Secretary.
Chaudhry said, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would be raising the Kashmir issue in his UN General Assembly speech later in the day.
