Washington: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Facebook headquarters at California to attend a townhall Q& A session on September 27, Facebook co-founder & CEO Mark Zuckerberg today announced through his official FB profile.
"I'm excited to announce that Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India will be visiting Facebook HQ later this month for a Townhall Q&A. Prime Minister Modi and I will discuss how communities can work together to address social and economic challenges." Zuckerberg wrote in his post
The Facebook CEO also invited questions from his followers that they would like to be addressed in the upcoming meeting with the Prime Minister.
"We want to hear your questions. Please ask them in the comments below and we'll try to get to as many as possible," he wrote in his post.
He also said that he will post the live video on his profile which will also be visible on Modi's official page on Facebook.
Zuckerberg, in his post, also mentioned his last meeting with Modi in India. He said, "I had the chance to visit Prime Minister Modi in India last year and it's an honor to have the chance to host him here at Facebook."
Zuckerberg had met Modi last year in October and discussed a host of social media issues with him including ways of checking terror activities.
Modi discussed with him the use of social media in checking terror activities and a host of other issues.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to meet US President Barack Obama on 28th September in New York during his six days US visit sceduled to begin from September 23.
