New Delhi: Former president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf has said that Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has 'problems' with Pakistan and Muslims.

He also said that the present conflict between India and Pakistan was due to an 'individual'.

"We have dealt with both the BJP and Congress and it is not an issue of parties, but of an individual. In India, there is a new Prime Minister. I don't know what's his problem with Pakistan and Muslim," Musharraf said.

He further praised former Indian PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi for being 'sincere about resolving conflicts'.

"Vajpayee sir was also from the BJP, but he was a simple and an incredible man. He had the sincerity to resolve conflicts. Sonia Gandhi also shares similar views with Vajpayee. And that's why we were moving forward toward conflict resolutions," Musharraf said.

On Shiv Sena, he said that Pakistan government should appeal to the United Nations to declare it as an extremist organisation.

"Shiv Sena is an extremist organisation. It should be declared as an extremist organisation, terrorist organisation by the United Nations. The Government of Pakistan must raise this issue with the United Nations," he said.

On Dadri lynching incident, Musharraf said that the organisation involved in the unfortunate incident and others doing similar acts should be declared as 'terrorist' groups.

Recently, Musharraf had accepted his country's role in nurturing terrorist group and using them against the neighbouring countries particularly India and Afghanistan. He had also claimed that Pakistan is creator of Lashkar-Taiba and Haqqani network which the Pakistan regime term as non-state actors.
