Beaumont: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says the terror attacks in Paris would have been "a much, much different situation" had the victims been armed with guns.
And he says the United States is "insane" to accept any refugees from Syria in the wake of the attacks. Trump spoke yesterday at a rally in Beaumont, Texas.
He began the event with a moment of silence in honor of the victims of the attacks.
French officials say more than 120 people are dead and hundreds more injured after the series of coordinated bombings and shootings.

Trump also criticized President Barack Obama's handling of the Islamic State group, saying that the US should be more aggressive in its approach.
He has been calling for the US to destroy oil fields the group controls.
