Sargodha (Pakistan): Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif said on Wednesday that the country was prepared for any possible foreign aggression.
He was speaking at the induction ceremony of a batch of 13 frontline F-16 fighter jets into the Pakistan Air Force Squadron Number 19 held in the ‘City of Eagles'.
General Raheel Sharif and Chief of Air Staff Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt were present at the ceremony held at Mushaf air base in Sargodha.
The inducted aircraft were purchased at a minimal price from Jordan after series of negotiations.
“Pakistan army would extend full cooperation to PAF whenever needed” Gen Raheel Sharif said at the ceremony adding that challenges faced through any foreign aggression would be faced.
