Islamabad: At least 10 people were killed and many others injured on Monday in two bombing attacks in Pakistan.
In the first incident, three people were killed when they were travelling in a vehicle and it hit a roadside bomb in Waziristan tribal region, Xinhua news agency reported.
In the second incident, seven people were killed and many others injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Tank area when unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade in an election rally.
Police said supporters of an independent candidate were celebrating his victory in recently held local government elections when the attack happened.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has condemned both the bombings and has ordered immediate investigation.
