Islamabad, Oct 27 : Pakistan temporarily blocked mobile phone services in sensitive areas of the country as part of security measures during Eid celebrations on Saturday.
The cellular service remained suspended from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in specific areas of 10 select cities.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik did not disclose the names of the cities. Malik said the decision was taken after receiving inputs from intelligence agencies and provincial governments.
