New Delhi: India's most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim's security has been enhanced after reports of thereat to his life.
According to top sources in country's security establishment, involved in tracking the activities of the D-Company, reported that Dawood's security was upgraded. Pakistan army's special commando forces have been deployed at his residence.
Top US intelligence agency FBI has shared inputs regarding Dawood to Indian intelligence agencies. Security was enhanced from early morning today at 4.00 am.
According to experts, Dawood's security has been increased at a time when another gangster Chhota Rajan is behind bars in Indonesia and Indian security officials are planning to bring him back to India.
It is believed that Chota Rajan has got much valuable information about Dawood Ibrahim which he may pass on to the Indian security agencies.
The two addresses where Pakistan army has beefed up Dawood's security are Shireen Jinnah Colony near Ziauddin Hospital in Clifton, Karachi.
His residence is near Ziauddin Hospital, where medical treatment could be provided to Dawood Ibrahim in case of an emergency. Another address where security has been beefed up is located at Main Margalla Road F-6/2, House No.7 in Islamabad.
Earlier the Pak Army in a similar way enhanced security of Lashkar-e-Taiba's top commander Hafeez Saeed.
