Washington: The corridors of power in Washington are abuzz with reports about US President Barack Obama heading towards separation from his wife of 22 years, Michelle.
Some reports said the marriage has collapsed, after Obama left Hawaii with his daughters Sasha and Malia after spending Christmas and New Year vacation leaving the First Lady there.
The National Enquirer reported, the break was another sign of a disintegration of the Obamas' 22-year-old marriage.
Some publications said, the couple are going through unspecified marital problems, which are threatening to overshadow Michelle Obama's 50th birthday celebrations.
Some tabloids reported that Michelle was furious when she learned that the Secret Service has covered up Obama's cheating – twice.
She learned that Barack was caught with a woman in an incident that, in the words of one mole, was ‘hushed up.'
Besides, a Secret Service agent also saw the president ‘in a compromising position' with another woman while Michelle was out of town.
