No meeting fixed between Modi, Nawaz Sharif in New York, says Pakistan

Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Office on Thursday said no meeting has been fixed in New York between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.During weekly media briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tanseem Aslam said

Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Office on Thursday said no meeting has been fixed in New York between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

During weekly media briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tanseem Aslam said  neither India nor Pakistan requested for meeting between the two prime ministers in New York.

She said  Nawaz Sharif's meeting with US President Barack Obama has also not been scheduled.

 
Nawaz Sharif, who has already reached New York, is expected to raise the Kashmir issue in his address at the UN General Assembly on Friday.

Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to hold seven meetings with heads of government on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly session.
