Carroll County, Virginia, April 1: Three people died and at least 25 were injured after 95 vehicles were involved in a pile-up following numerous accidents on a foggy US highway.
The vehicles were caught in 17 separate crashes on Sunday along the mountainous road near the Virginia-North Carolina border, according to police.
Virginia State Police spokeswoman said the injuries ranged from serious to minor.
