New York: The bodies of a 35-year-old man and a 3-year-old boy were found on the rooftops of separate buildings on 59th Street behind the South Park Tower rental apartment building in New York on Saturday.
Police said, the man first dropped his son from the 14th floor of a 52-story building, located in Manhattan's Upper West Side neighbourhood then jumped after him.
Police officials said the man was pronounced dead on the scene and the child died after being rushed to the hospital.
No identifications have been released yet and circumstances of the fall are unclear, investigation is on.
