New Delhi: With an estimated personal fortune of $15.3 billion, 60-year old Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has won the crown of the world's wealthiest bachelor according to the Wealth-X, a global wealth intelligence and prospecting

On October 15, 2012, the Americans for the Arts awarded Allen with the Eli and Edythe Broad Award for Philanthropy in the Arts.

He reportedly bought a $27-million, eight -bedroom mansion in the Silicon Valley town of Atherton in mid-November.
