Allen is a musician too. He plays rhythm guitar in a Seattle band called Grown Men; the band released their first CD in the spring of 2000.
Over the years, Paul Allen has established several non-profit community institutions that feature his private collections of historic artifacts.
He is an active arts collector, he has gifted more than $100 million to support the arts.
