New Delhi: The heaviest man or woman ever must always remain a matter of conjecture.Earlier we did a story on Jon Brower Minnoch who is considered the fattest man ever and now here we are going to talk about Carol Yager who is considered the fattest women ever.Carol Yager was born on January 26, 1960. She was born and raised near Flint, Michigan in a town called Beecher,U.S.She weighed more than 1600 lbs (726 kg) at her peak. She had been fat since childhood. It is reported that she developed an eating disorder as a child due to the trauma inflicted upon her by sexual abuse at the hands of a relative.She became the headlines of news paper in 1993 for having lost the most weight by natural (non-surgical) means, in the shortest documented time (521 lbs -236 kg. in three months).In 1993 she was admitted to a hospital near her home as a result of her condition of cellulitus.At the time she checked into the hospital, Yager was weighed at 1,189 pounds (539 kg). It was during this visit that Yager lost the incredible 519 (235 kg) pounds, and word of her story spread throughout the media and the tabloids.She was 5 feet 7 inches tall. She appeared on The Jerry Springer Show, and was the subject of attention from several dieting gurus.Yager suffered from many obesity-related health problems, including breathing difficulty, a dangerously high blood sugar level, and stress on her heart and other organs.She was bedridden. She was not able to stand or walk because her muscles were not strong enough to support her, due in part to muscle atrophy from disuse.She was frequently hospitalized, 13 times in two years. It was reported that it required over 15 firefighters to transport Yager from her house to the hospital. Yager died on July 18,1994 as a result of kidney failure, with morbid obesity and organ failure as contributing causes of death.
