Piles of bodies were found strewn across the floor, as the first pictures of the massacre inside the mall emerged.
The bodies could belong to 71 civilians reported missing by Kenyan Red Cross.
On Thursday, as soldiers and doctors entered the mall, they spoke of the horrifying scenes inside.
‘You find people with hooks hanging from the roof,' said one Kenyan doctor.
