New Delhi: A Malaysian police report has warned that at least 12 Islamic State suicide bombers have entered Kuala Lumpur, where the country is hosting Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.
Malaysia's police chief Khalid Abu Bakar, however, said that they have yet to confirm information about the presence of suicide bombers in the capital city.
"There have been reports of imminent terrorist threats in Malaysia. At this point, I would like to underline that they have yet to be confirmed," Bakar said.
The leaders of 18 countries, including US President Barack Obama, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Indian PM Narendra Modi and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang are here to attend the annual ASEAN Summit and the East Asia Summit.

Few days ago, Malaysia police had arrested suspected ISIS members and sympathisers but has not linked them to threats against the ASEAN summit.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian government has deployed extraordinary security measures around Kuala Lumpur. Some 4,500 soldiers were deployed or on standby to secure the Summit, in addition to thousands of police who have fanned out around the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
