Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan: India and Pakistan have agreed to respect the 2003 ceasefire agreement to reduce tensions, advisor to the prime minister on foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said.







Speaking to the media here on Friday‚ Sartaj Aziz said that during his meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid‚ the two sides agreed to more effectively use the existing mechanism in this regard.

The Adviser conveyed concern that the momentum which the two Prime Ministers had created for the peace process and the resumption of composite dialogue soon after the new government took over in June last has been arrested by the unfortunate incidents at Line of Control.
