Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan said that he would be celebrating completion of a month of anti-government protests, media reported on Thursday.

The protests led by Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahir ul Qadri began Aug 15 in an attempt to overthrow Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who they accused of rigging the 2013 general elections, Dawn online reported.

Speaking to protesters Wednesday at a sit-in at Islamabad, Imran Khan vowed to bring more evidence against the government and put up a grand show to express national solidarity Saturday.

"On Saturday, we will unveil things which should have been brought in the parliament," he said.

Imran Khan criticised the federal ministers for claiming a trillion rupees loss due to his and Qadri's sit-ins in Islamabad.

He demanded an explanation with regard to the allegation.

Imran khan reiterated his stance that holding peaceful protests were his party's lawful right, adding that it was a battle between oppressors and the oppressed.

On Wednesday, after conclusion of the 14th round of talks with the government, PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that dialogue has entered into a "sensitive phase".

Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who is also a member of the government negotiating team, affirmed Qureshi's statement and expressed hope for an early conclusion of successful talks.
