Lahore: Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed today vowed to avenge Pakistan's defeat from Indian hands in 1971 and said that Kashmir will be freed very soon.
“Ghazwae Hind is inevitable, Kashmir will be freed, 1971 will be avenged,” he said, adding that “Gujarat victims will get justice Insha Allah.”
He was addressing terror group's two-day congregation in Lahore's Minar-i-Pakistan monument grounds.
Ghazwa-e-Hind refers to an indoctrinated view of a final apocalyptic war and the term is used by jihadi circles.
“We are not struggling for senates, parliaments or rulership. We are people who sacrifice for the unity of Muslims. The common ground among all Muslims around the world is the belief. Regional & International disputes must be left aside by Ummah,” he said.
He invited all political and religious organizations to unite on La Ilaha Illallah.
“Nawaz Sharif should announce a broader vision for Muslim Ummah. Cooperate in economy and defence, this is our message to Muslims rulers. Islamic United Nation must be made to solve the matters of Muslims so that the slavery of west must end,” the JuD chief said.
He also said that his organisation will work towards making Pakistan a ‘true model of Islamic country'.
“There is no room for suicide and terrorist attacks in Pakistan. We will end politics of violence by Dawah & Humanitarian services. We will make Pakistan a true model of Islamic country. We will join hearts, and reclaim the old Pakistan of La Ilaha Ilallah. I request my followers, men and women to prepare for a long struggle. Simplicity must be your way of life; Sky high your vision,” he said.
Saeed runs the Lahore-based Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), which he claims is a humanitarian charity. The JuD has been blacklisted by the US, which has described it as a foreign terrorist organisation.
