Tripoli, Oct 20: Adel Samir, an NTC soldier from the Qabra Brigade, who claims to have been witness to former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's capture described how he was killed.

(Question: "Tell me the story, this morning the convoy comes, what happens?")
"We get it in leader's places (unintelligible) we catch him there and we shot him, somebody shot him by gun, 9mm."
(Question: Which Gadhafi? Moammar?)
"Yeah Moammar Gadhafi."
(Question: Where was he shot?"
"Here, here, shot here in here body (points to stomach) like this, yeah
(Question: At what time did this happen?")
"Twelve and a half"
(Question: Midnight?")
"No mid morning, midday from maybe. What time? Twelve and a half this morning."
(Question: After midnight, 30 minutes after midnight?)
"Yeah and this morning we are catched."
(Question: So he was there? Describe what happened. He was there tell me what he saw."
