Stratford, UK : A 21-year-old girl Naomi Oni suffered horrific burns on her face and chest, lost her hair and eyelashes and was left scarred for life when one of her close friends threw acid on her face on December 30, 2012, in Snaresbrook.
Naomi worked at Victoria's Secret lingerie shop in Westfield Stratford City .
Her friend Mary Konye was jealous of Naomi's good looks.She stalked her as she made her way home from work.
Naomi Oni was hospitalized for a month and the acid attack left her disfigured for life.
Mary Konye however denies she was jealous of her friend's good looks and said she had no idea who threw the acid at her.
The hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court continues.
