Islamabad: At least four people were killed and several injured in a powerful blast Friday in Pakistan's Rawalpindi, media reported.
The blast took place near an imambargah in Chatian Hatian area, which also damaged the building, Dawn online reported.
The blast took place when a suspected suicide bomber tried to enter the imambargah but was stopped at the entrance, eyewitnesses said.
At least four bodies had been brought to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ), spources said.
Rescue workers said the number of casualties was expected to rise as many people have been injured, including two policemen.
