Bali: Gangster Chhota Rajan will to be deported to India from Indonesia tonight, a member of Indian Interpol team confirmed.
"Clearance has come, by tonight he will be out," an official replied to a question that when Rajan will be deported to India.
Sources in Bali police said that Rajan will be taken tonight by special aircraft.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the arrested gangster will be brought to Mumbai.
"Chhota Rajan will be brought to Mumbai. He is likely to be kept in high-security cell of Arthur road prison," he said today.
Earlier in the day, Rajan said that the there is a threat to his life in Mumbai because few officers of Mumbai Police are working at the behest of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Speaking to India TV in Bali, the arrested gangster said, "I have fought against terrorism, ISI for 22 years. Now I am going to India. Bombay Police has been biased against me... the government in Delhi should look into the matter and do the justice."
"Few officers of Mumbai Police are with Dawood... and my fight against terrorism and Dawood will continue till my last breath," he further said.
"I am not afraid of any Dawood," he added.

When asked about where he wants to be deported in India, he said, "I will go wherever government wants."
On 70 charges slapped against him, Rajan said, "All 70 charges are false."
The Indian team, comprising officers from CBI, Mumbai and Delhi Police, are already camping in Bali from last two days with a detailed dossier on 55-year-old Rajan and his involvement in various crimes in India.
Rajan was arrested in Bali last week on the basis of a Red Corner Notice from Interpol and following a tip off by Australian authorities to the police in Indonesia.
Rajan was travelling with the identity of Mohan Kumar with passport number G9273860 when he was apprehended at the airport here after arriving on a Garuda Indonesia flight GA715.
Rajan is wanted in over 75 heinous crimes ranging from murder, extortion to smuggling and drug trafficking.
