New Delhi: French Prime Minister Manuel Valls today warned that Europe should be prepared for repeat terror attacks in the coming few days and weeks.
He disclosed that the authorities in France were aware that terror attacks were being planned before the Paris massacre.
Manuel Valls told the French media that Friday's shootings in Paris were "planned in Syria."
Valls also confirmed that police had carried out a series of pre-dawn raids on Monday morning and has made dozens of arrests.
"France was not only attacked because we hit Daesh (Isis), but because we are France. We defend secularism, and we have conceptions of equality between men and women," Valls said in an interview.

When asked to comment about the raids in the early hours, Valls said: "Let the police do their job...I am convinced of their professionalism."
Meanwhile, French military jets on Sunday bombarded a stronghold of the Islamic State terrorist group in Raqqa, Syria, French Defence ministry said.
The first objective destroyed included a command post, recruitment centre and arsenal of arms and ammunition, the ministry said in a statement, Xinhua reported.
The second objective was a training camp, the ministry added.
According to the ministry, about 20 bombs were dropped.
The bombardment came 48 hours after attacks claimed by IS killed 129 people in suicide bombings and shootings in Paris.
