Constable Amit Kumar of Delhi Police, who had died of coronavirus was cremated at Punjabi Bagh crematorium in Delhi. Senior police officers were present during the cremation.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Director Dr Randeep Guleria has said that coronavirus cases in India may peak in June-July. He was quoted by ANI

Indian National evacuees stranded in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, and Malaysia will be housed in the quarantine facilities maintained by three Services- Army, Navy and Air Force- in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bhopal, Kochi, Vishakhapatnam & Chennai

Evacuees will undergo mandatory quarantine as per SOPs in the quarantine facilities (in pic), run by Army, Navy & Air Force after which further necessary action will be taken for their onward journey as per the approved SOPs

China reports 2 new cases of coronavirus, all of which were imported. 0 new deaths for 10th day in a row.

New Zealand reports 1 new case of coronavirus and 0 new deaths. Below 5 new cases for the fifth day in a row.

2 deaths and 38 new Coronavirus positive cases reported in Rajasthan today. The total number of cases stands at 3355 in the state; death toll at 95. 

Brazil reports 10,503 new cases of coronavirus, 125,218 cases in total. Brazil's largest daily increase by far.

India coronavirus cases have crossed 52,000-mark taking confirmed patients toll to 52,952 including 1,783 deaths while 15,267 have recovered, as per the health ministry figures released on Thursday. READ MORE
