8 COVID-19 patients recovered and discharged today in Jharkhand, taking the total number of recoveries to 87. The total number of positive cases in the state is 177

Reduction in rate of Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) and Tax Collection at Source (TCS), Central Board of Direct Taxes said on Wednesday.

1495 new COVID-19 cases and 54 deaths reported in Maharashtra today, taking total number of cases to 25,922 and deaths to 975. 5,547 patients have been recovered/discharged in the state so far. 15747 cases and 596 deaths have been reported in Mumbai.

The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 71 in Uttarakhand, with one more person testing positive in Almora district today. The number of active cases stands at 23. COVID-19 cases reach 72 in Uttarakhand, with one person testing positive for the infection in Nainital district today.

FM Nirmala Sitharaman briefed the media over the economic package amid coronavirus lockdown: Here are the highlights from presser:

• PM laid out a comprehensive vision, and that vision was laid out after wide consultations with several sections of the society
• Essentially this is to spurt growth and to build a very self reliant India and that is why this whole initiative is called Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
• Five pillars of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat- economy, infrastructure, system, demography and demand.
• Atmanirbhar (self-reliant) India does not mean India is to be an isolationist country.

• Beginning today, over the next few days we will come before you (media) with the team to put forth PM's vision.

• We shall not forget that we do have a responsibility towards the poor, needy, the migrants workers, divyang, and the aged of the country.

• In a major initiative, we announce Rs 3 lakh crores collateral-free automatic loans for businesses, including SMEs. Borrowers with up Rs 25Cr outstanding and Rs100 Cr turnover are eligible.

• The government to provide stressed MSMEs with equity support. The Government will facilitate the provision of Rs. 20,000 Crores as subordinate debt.

• Collateral free automatic loans to MSMEs worth Rs3 Lakh Crore. These have 4 year tenor, valid up to October 31st, 2020.

• This will enable 45 lakh MSME units to resume business activity and also safeguard jobs.

• Definition of MSMEs to be revised, investment limit to be revised. Additional criteria for turnover also being introduced.

• Global tenders to be disallowed in Government procurement up to Rs 200 crores. This will make self-reliant India, will also then be able to serve 'Make in India'.

One more person has been tested positive for COVID-19 in Uttarakhand, taking total number of cases to 70 out of which 23 cases are active

152 COVID-19 cases and 3 deaths reported in Rajasthan today, as of 2 pm. Total number of cases in the state is now at 4278, including 1699 active cases, and 120 deaths

Three more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Jhajjar, Rewari and Rohtak, taking the total number of cases to 783 in Haryana out of which 421 cases are active. Number of fatalities due to the disease stands at 11
