Williamston, North Carolina, March 1 : Two people suffered minor injuries when a wayward bull charged into the stands at a rodeo here last week. It was supposed to be a fun afternoon of rodeo-watching for 12-hundred fans, until suddenly, a 2,000 pound (907 kilogram) bull started heading for the stands.
The terrifying moment was captured on video by Chris Connor, who was at the rodeo with his family. "Your first concern is 'where are my children, what's going on?', because all bets are off when something like this happens," Connor said afterwards.
Chris said: "Within ten feet, and within five seconds we are about 20 feet away from it, so you start moving very quickly when a bull is coming your way obviously." "Your first concern is 'where are my children, what's going on?', because all bets are off when something like this happens", said Chris. The bull leapt over a wall - sending rodeo watchers scrambling. One man suffered a broken foot, his wife had scratches and bruises. AP
