Madhya Pradesh reported 2,004 new coronavirus cases, 2,316 recoveries and 35 deaths today, taking total cases to 1,28,047 including 1,04,734 recoveries, 2,316 deaths and 20,997 active cases. 

Karnataka reported 8,856 new COVID-19 cases, 8,890 discharges and 87 deaths, taking total cases to 6,01,767 including 4,85,268 discharges and 8,864 deaths. Number of active cases stands at 1,07,616. 

West Bengal recorded 3,281 new coronavirus cases, 2,954 recoveries and 59 deaths today, taking total cases to 2,57,049 including 2,25,759 recoveries, 4,958 deaths and 26,332 active cases. 

Gujarat reported 1,390 new COVID-19 cases, 1372 discharges and 11 deaths today. Total cases in the state rise to 1,37,394, including 1,17,231 discharges and 3453 deaths. Active cases stand at 16,710. 

Haryana reported 1,625 COVID-19 cases, 2,063 recoveries and 26 deaths today, taking total cases to 1,28,599 with 1,12,877 recoveries, 1,382 deaths and 14,340 active cases. 

Maharashtra reports 18,317 new COVID-19 cases, 481 deaths and 19,163 discharges today. Total cases in the state rise to 13,84,446, including 36,662 deaths and 10,88,322 discharges. Active cases stand at 2,59,033. 

Mizoram reported 22 new recovered COVID-19 cases today. The total positive cases rise to 1,986, including 1,598 discharges, 388 active cases & no COVID death till date in the state.

Government continues to procure crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP) from farmers as per its existing MSP schemes as done in previous seasons. 44,809 MT of paddy having MSP value of Rs 84.60 crores was procured from Punjab and Haryana in 3 days.

327 Maharashtra police personnel tested positive for COVID-19 and 1 died in the last 24 hours, taking total cases to 23,360 in the force including 20,139 recoveries, 2,975 active cases and 246 deaths. 77 health officials reported being attacked in the state.

The extended range BrahMos supersonic cruise missile that was test-fired off the coast of Odisha’s Balasore today. The missile can hit targets at a range of more than 400 kms. It is fitted with new indigenous booster and airframe.

All accused in Babri Masjid demolition case acquitted by Special CBI Court in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Special CBI Court observed that the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition was not pre-planned.

Hearing in Babri Masjid demolition case: Accused Ritambhara, Champat Rai, Vinay Katiyar, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and other accused have arrived at the CBI Special court for hearing. 

The judge has also arrived. Court to pronounce the verdict in the case today.

All accused in Babri Masjid demolition case, except Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti, Satish Pradhan and Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, have arrived at Special CBI Court in Lucknow.

The allegations that funeral was conducted without family's consent are wrong. The father & brother gave their consent to conduct funeral at night. Family members were also present at funeral. Vehicle carrying victim's body was present at village from 12:45 to 2:30am: Hathras DM. 

Jharkhand's COVID-19 tally has climbed to 82,540 with 1,123 fresh cases, even as 12 more fatalities pushed the death toll to 700, a health official said. The state now has 11,942 active cases, while 69,898 people have recovered from the disease so far, he said.
