An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit Afghanistan's capital city Kabul at 4:18 pm on Wednesday. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the epicenter of the earthquake was 270 km northeast of Kabul.
There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property, due to the quake.
Last month, a similar earthquake had strike Kabul while the epicenter was 237 km NNE of Kabul.
