It took him two weeks to complete the pilgrimage when he was young.
There was limited access to food, water, toilets in the holy cities. Roads were not paved.
“The number of pilgrims was about 250,000. We used to live in tents...We had to cross on foot the long distances between Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah,” he said.
Complete services being extended to the pilgrims have enabled them do their Hajj rites in ease and comfort, added the cleric.
