1. A town in Alaska, named Talkeetna has a cat as its mayor for 15 consecutive years. Fifteen years ago, the citizens of Talkeetna were not happy merely with the looks of their candidates for mayor. One day Lauri Stec, manager of Nagley's General Store, spotted a box of kittens and adopted one of them. The kitten was named as Stubb.
But eventually it became the mayor of the town. Now, this cat mayor has more than 6000 subscribers and it's Facebook friend list is far longer than yours.
