At least 16 people lost their lives whereas 23 others injured in a suicide attack inside a mosque in Mohmand Agency in restive northwest Pakistan.
As per reports, the suicide bomber blew himself up during Friday prayers when the mosque was packed with worshippers.
"It was a suicide blast," a local official said.
At least 16 people were killed, the Express Tribune reported, citing officials.
Rescue teams and police rushed to the spot. The bodies and the injured are being shifted to local hospitals for medical treatment.
