30-year-old adventurer Alison Teal has become the first woman to surf board next to the lava flow of Mount Kilauea in Hawaii and swim within feet of flowing lava.
These stunning photographs show the bikini-clad adventurer hot-surfing around an erupting volcano without any fear.
This daredevil surfer sat riding her pink surfboard up to Kilauea Volcano as it erupted into the ocean, wearing a hot pink bikini.
The amazing shots of the brave explorer were captured by underwater photographer Perrin James, who snapped her extreme surf session during the volcano's first eruption since 2011.
“This was a lifelong dream. It was humbling and breathtaking and hot,” Alison told Daily Mail after her August 3 adventure.
"I was hoping to catch a wave, however, when I got in close I was hit by a spatter of hardening rock spray and I quickly ducked under water.
"I looked back and noticed a wave was coming and I paddled for my life to get out of the danger zone.
"Afterwards I was exhilarated and exhausted at the same time.
Teal, further added, 'Suddenly a scary scene transformed into the most majestic moment of my life.'
It is the first the volcano in the big island of Hawaii that has erupted since 2011.
Teal is now full of admiration for the photographer Perrin who had to carry with him a 35-pound camera for taking these incredible shots.
