Pakistan has finalised a dossier on the alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav in addition to the evidence of alleged attempted violation of maritime boundary by an Indian submarine.

According to a report in ‘Dawn’, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi will present this dossier to the new United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres on January 2.

Pakistan had arrested Kubhushan Jadhav on charges of spying on behalf of Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

On December 7, Sartaj Aziz, Adviser to Pakistan PM on Foreign Affairs, had said that “insufficient material” on Kulbhushan Jadhav had been delaying the finalisation of the dossier.

“It is not that material has been provided and it’s lacking in English and we are overcoming it. The (provided) material, in our view, was insufficient,” Mr Aziz told a meeting of the Senate Committee of the Whole House.

The report quotes Pakistani officials as saying that “the required additional information” has now been made available and the dossier has been completed.
