New Delhi: A search for ‘useless’ items on e-commerce websites would ideally elicit little interest and more ridicule. Well, not if you would happen to find a country’s Prime Minister up for grabs under the search tag.
Shocked as you may be, this one-of-a-kind distinction goes to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. An anonymous user has posted the Pakistani Prime Minister up for sale on eBay.
“Useless Pakistani Pm Nawaz Sharif for Sale,” reads the caption with the PM’s photograph to go along with it.
If you think that was brutal, brace for the product description.
“Used Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for sale. No longer needed. Needs a bit of TLC. No box or instructions. Buyer must collect. Seller not prepared to touch item. Pick up from central London today, address will be supplied on completion of sale. Buyer must arrange own transport,” it reads.
Nawaz Sharif is currently in London where he is said to be undergoing some medical treatment. He was recently in the dock for certain revelations in the Panama Papers leaks over allegations that his daughter and two sons had offshore companies located at tax havens.
“Not in working condition. It never worked. It was faulty and corrupt by birth. The whole range of the product and its family is Genetically defected and corrupt. Take it away and rid us of this disease. Buy this and a similar item in smaller pack Mr Shahbaz Sharif will be given for free with it and that item is good with drama and passionate speeches but no use too,” it further reads.
There has been a political furore over the development. While opposition united to demand his resignation, there were also allegations that Sharif was travelling to UK to meet former President Asif Ali Zardari, a claim that has been denied by the ruling government.

The Pakistani premier (ebay item no 162037014813) currently stands at a 66,200 pounds bidding price. So far, 100 bids have been made.

Interestingly, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is not the first one to put up for sell, but recently in an alike move United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron was also placed for bids on ebay.
