New Orleans: A 27-year-old woman from New Orleans has been arrested by police on charges of theft and possession of stolen property from multiple locations throughout the city.
Police say the woman, identified as Raushawn Ford, is accused of stealing nail polish worth Rs 57 thousand in one day from a CVS drug store.
Authorities said in a news release that Ford was arrested Monday and held without bond on charges of theft and possessing stolen property. The news release quotes CVS' loss prevention officer as saying that Ford also had stolen from two other stores.

However, the news release did not elaborate upon how and when Ford allegedly stole the polish or how she was caught.
Jail records did not indicate whether she had an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
According to the CVS website, it sells nail polish for anywhere from 99 cents to Rs 1 thousand a bottle.
