New Delhi: A hacker, who goes by the alias “Wauchula Ghost” is meting out his own vengeance on the dreaded terror group ISIS by spamming the Twitter accounts of its supporters with porn.
According to a report in The Washington Post, Wachula Ghost, a member of the hacking clan ‘Anonymous’ has hacked hundreds of Twitter accounts of Islamic State supporters and flooded them with pornographic pictures and videos in the last two months, especially after the mass murder case in Orlando executed by an ISIS supporter.
“Daesh doesn’t like porn,” the hacker told The Washington Post referring to the Islamic State in its Arabic transliteration.
“They don’t like women in general. We just started using it to poke fun at them and diminish their presence online,” he further added.
While ISIS has used social media as a weapon to spread its enraging messages and find new recruits, Wauchula Ghost said that by tweeting sexual content rather than traditional battles cries against the West, he wants to suppress the voices of ISIS recruiters and chase them off popular social networking platforms.
“My goal waking up in the morning and see messages from Daesh, telling me they're going to kill me or cut my head off. The madder they get, the happier I get,” said the hacker Ghost.
As a result of the hacking of Twitter account, about 160 accounts have tweeted photos of nude women instead of messages supporting self-described caliphate or encouraging violence.
He says he plans to continue hijacking ISIS accounts in the future, almost as a kind of Twitter crime fighter, harassing bad guys outside the confines of the law.
